LG would be in charge of manufacturing the new Google ‘Taimen’, successor to the Pixel XL

A few hours after the rumor that Google has canceled the Pixel XL 2 ‘Muskie’ for a model with an even bigger screen have leaked out of this unknown third device codenamed ‘Taimen’ that was released last month of March.

Now we know that unknown Google device ‘Taimen’ could be manufactured by LG instead of HTC.

On the Google problem tracking website, an LG employee is talking about a problem detected on this model.

In the capture we see as in the second message a Google employee to close that message and open it again in Android > Partner > External > LGE > Taimen > power, which would practically confirm that Google and LG work together in a New device.

The name ‘Taimen’ refers to a species of huge salmon, and so rumors say that it would be a very large screen device, above the ‘Walleye’ (successor of the Pixel) and the canceled ‘Muskie’ (successor of Pixel XL).

Few details of Google ‘Taimen’ are known as of today, only the rumor of its large format screen and that would take the processor Snapdragon 835 .

There are also rumors that say ‘Taimen’ would not be a Pixel, which would have a totally different design and not ruled out that it could be ‘Android One’ made by LG to offer a cheaper device with that Nexus / Pixel experience.
