In a completely unexpected way, Huawei has put an end to the possibility of downloading the official ROMs dedicated to its EMU-based terminals.
This means that for a few days it is no longer possible to make manual updates of Huawei devices by using ROMs published on the official site, as these are no longer available.
The company left a warning on the page, announcing that the updates will be distributed exclusively online, so via OTA, in order to ” offer a more comfortable and satisfying upgrade experience .”
Reasons not so clear that do not provide a real explanation of why Huawei has chosen to stop this virtuous practice.
From now on, to update your device, just keep in touch with the dedicated voice within the settings menu.
We will update the news later if new details emerge.
