FIFA 18 and PES 18 for Android: new season and players but little evolution

The two most important football games have been updated with the data for the 2017-2018 season. We are talking of course about the FIFA 18 and PES 18, two great historical rivals that have also moved to Android their fight to be crowned as the best football game.

Konami has updated the Pro Evolution Soccer with the data of the new season and has improved some sections. The update is available for download on November 5.

For its part, Electronics Arts updated FIFA on November 1 after several months of testing. In this case, they focus on the single-player campaign mode and they will give us the Real Madrid star. An update that we can complement with any of the FUT applications that are also adapted to the new season that has started these months.

PES 2018 (Pro Evolution Soccer)

To upgrade to PES 2018 we will need an internet connection, have Android 5.0 or higher and at least 1.5GB of storage. It is a complete soccer game where we can make matches, signings, and negotiations.

In this new season all the data of teams, players and technical directors that will be progressively updated. We already know the fights for the licenses but in the big teams, they are all the details.

Portraits of some players will become photos. We also have new features like being able to play online with our registered friends. We have new tutorials and added the option to change tactics, offensive or defensive, during games.

Small changes to complement the main novelty that is basically the adaptation to the new season and of course the purchase of new players and their scores. A strategy that will annoy the followers of the saga but it is the strategy of Konami to monetize the game.

FIFA Soccer (FIFA 18)

The FIFA 18 update requires at least 200MB to run and Android 4.1 or higher. In this new season, the presence of Cristiano Ronaldo has been greatly enhanced, which we will be able to get for free.

We can train any player up to a GRL over 100, choose current mythical players or legends of this sport and also include a new single-player campaign mode where we can earn rewards through events.

EA also ensures that it has improved controls to facilitate moves and dribbling, but the truth is that there have been few changes with respect to FIFA 17 that we were able to analyze thoroughly last year.
