The best Android tablets of 2017

We continue our review of the best of the year highlighting the best Android tablets. Although it is true that tablets do not go through their peak popularity (about half of the models have been presented last year), we have a few dozen models to choose from.

With increasingly larger phones, some prefer to have a single device instead of two, but tablets are still an exceptional way to enjoy multimedia content. With more and more power and a more mature Android, they can sometimes replace – in part – a laptop.

Thirdly … Huawei Mediapad T3

In third place of our podium is the cheapest offer. The Huawei Mediapad T3 of 8 inches, which is available on Amazon for 149.99 euros right now. It is a normal tablet, to walk around the house, with specifications worthy of this year and at a very interesting price. In our analysis, I achieved almost a remarkable: a 6.9 average grade.

As for its technical specifications, mounted an IPS screen of 8 inches with HD resolution, has the heart of Snapdragon 425 and 2 GB of RAM. The storage is 16 GB, expandable with microSD, and has a battery of 4,800 mAh, at the height of the circumstances. By the way, comes with Nougat series, which is appreciated.

In second place … Xiaomi Mi Pad 3

In second place we find the Xiaomi Mi Pad 3, regardless of whether in the end, you need to change your name in Europe. It is also 8 inches (well, they really are 7.9) but the price goes up to these 318 euros in GearBest or 258 euros, and the hardest thing is going to be to find where they have it in stock.

That extra price compared to that of Huawei is justified with a large 6,600 mAh battery with fast charge, a QXGA resolution screen, MediaTek MT8176 heart, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.

And the winner is … Samsung Galaxy Tab S3

As we said at the beginning, the panorama of Android tablets is not going through its best moment and there are few manufacturers that really take it seriously. Samsung is one of them, as you can see in our analysis where it garnered an 8.25 average score, not bad for a tablet.

Highlights its 9.7-inch SuperAMOLED screen with support for HDR10 and is powered by Snapdragon 820 and 4 GB of RAM. It is not the most pointer of the year, but in the world of tablets, we must often confirm.

It has a battery of 6,000 mAh and decent cameras of 13 and 5 megapixels, but its real attraction is the S-Pen, which works better than ever.
