The Korean company recently published a list of upcoming terminals that will receive Android O. We already talked about it in this article, and today we were able to confirm that Samsung has added some devices to its roadmap.
Among the new devices that will receive Android O have been listed:
- Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4
- Galaxy A8 (2018)
- Galaxy J3 Emerge
- Galaxy Tab S3 9.7
- Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017)
- Galaxy Tab Active 2
- Galaxy Tab A 10.1 ( 2016)
The Galaxy Tab S3 9.7 will be the first of all devices that we have named to receive Android O although Samsung has not specified an exact date, it has simply indicated “spring-summer”, a fairly broadband that nevertheless benefits the Korean firm since it prevents you from having to get your fingers caught.
The rest of the devices will receive Android O sometime at the end of the year, which brings us to the last two quarters of 2018.
Again a vague and imprecise fact that allows Samsung to have a considerable margin in case there is any delay important.
Otherwise, what we saw in the previous news is maintained
The next terminals that will update to Android O will be the Galaxy Note 8 (March 28), followed by the Galaxy S7-S7 Edge, Galaxy Tab S3 9.7 and Galaxy A 2017, which will receive this operating system between spring and summer.
We do not have details about the possible arrival of Android O to the Galaxy S6 internationally and seeing the date in which we are very much we fear that it is likely that in the end, they will end up being Android N.
