These are all mobile phones that have Android 9 Pie at the end of 2018, according to AOSMark

android pie phones update 2019
With 2019 already in the rear-view mirror, it’s time to review the penetration of Android 9 Pie in the smartphone market. Despite the promises of Project Treble and what it would mean to combat fragmentation, Android 9 Pie has not finished taking off, to the point that Google does not consider it in its latest distribution report, dated October 26, this year that ends today.

That does not mean that Android 9 Pie has not reached some terminals, most of them high-end this year and the previous. In the table below you can see all the phones that have been updated to Android Pie or that were released with this version, that is, all devices that close 2018 with the latest version of the Google operating system.

As can be seen, Huawei is the brand that has more devices updated to its credit , closely followed by Xiaomi, Sony and Nokia. There are many other models that do not appear and that, in theory, should be updated throughout the next year. Examples of these are the HTC U12 +, the Moto G6 family or the Xperia XA2.

AOSMark also offers a list with the manufacturers that better update. This is done by analyzing the updates that change the Android API number (that is, minor or security updates are not taken into account) and giving a rating of 0 to 6. The first three are Google, OnePlus, and Nokia with a score of 3.5, 2.75 and 1.82, respectively.
